The e-mails do not come from this site, but are from Meetup.com's message board.
At the bottom of every e-mail there is a link that says
"To unsubscribe or to update your mailing list settings, click here"
If you click on that link, and sign in, you can change your settings to not receive mailing list messages.
If you can't find a group on the map, I recommend going to Meetup or The 9-12 Social Network (not affiliated with Glenn) to find your group. The latter is more organized.
About two dozen e-mails convinced me. I still stand by the notion that my site has served its purpose, but I'll keep it up. Now it's YOUR turn. You don't have to make a national site; you just need to connect with people in your area. There are sites such as Meetup or "ning" that better serve your community than this one ever could. Note that all private information has been deleted. If you see a problem, let me know.
Remember how Glenn spoke of community? The groups wanted to keep their new communities going. These are links to the online communities.

The 9-12 dots show that the posting was after 3/13/09, and specifically reference The 9-12 Project. They are more likely to work. The "We Surround Them" dots are for older sites that may or may not still be valid.
So, How can I get my
to change into a
?
Just fill out the form (again) and I'll update you. I just need to know you're up and running for The 9-12 Project
wesurroundthemmap@yahoo.com - I may not answer mail every day from that address anymore, but there ya go.
NO and ABSOLUTELY NOT. I promised. Besides, I didn't keep a "mailing list" for any reason.
